Guitarist David Snow
David Snow is a prodigious jazz talent and music industry veteran who prides himself on playing the highest quality of jazz. When David plays a tune, it swings like jazz should swing, and when he solos, his playing is both melodic and hip. That said, though he started his career as a straight ahead player, he has had a stellar career in ALL areas of music. A former student and disciple of Joe Pass, Ted Greene and Charlie Shoemake, after an initial run in the world of jazz, Dave went on to spend decades as a multi-instrumental producer, songwriter, session man, mix engineer, and finally, back again as a virtuoso jazz guitarist.
Besides jazz, David has worked with a variety of artists in a wide range of styles—from indie rock and pop artists to Latin and Country superstars such as Faith Hill, Amanda Miguel and Diego Verdaguer. David has written and produced for companies such as Sony/BMG, Arista, EMI, Univision, and Warner. He has garnered accolades from record company executives such as Bruce Lundvall, President of EMI, and many others. For decades, David has been known for his attention to quality and detail, and for the incredible amount of passion and emotion he puts into his music.
And now, David has put aside his commercial endeavors for his first love-JAZZ!
Whether he performs as a solo jazz guitarist, or with a full band of virtuoso players, rest assured that when David is at the helm of a project, it is a true treat of swinging, musical virtuosity!
